Cunningham Martial Arts is a 7000 square foot state-of-the-art martial arts training facility. Located on 62 beautiful acres in Southeastern Owen County, Indiana, it is centrally located between Spencer, Bloomington, and Ellettsville. The 1440 sq.ft. training floor is host  not only  to ongoing classes but also international training camps, with Master Instructors and students attending from all over the world. The facility is complete with  restrooms that include changing rooms and showers. Much like State Parks, they are accessible directly from the outside to accommodate our campers during weekend events. 

 

Our Mission is to provide a well rounded curriculum of quality martial arts that are useful in real self defense situations. Our Karate, Jujitsu and weapons training curriculum includes pressure point kicking and striking, escapes from chokes and holds, joint-lock grappling and  weapons self defense. Training sessions are designed with continuity for those seeking rank advancement.

 

Our youth program emphasizes self esteem, confidence, discipline, and cooperation. It includes proper kicking and punching form, correct falling, rolling, fun cardio exercise tasks, and simple but effective self defense escapes.
